Uzdūros interesantam softiņam, ļoti noderīgs tiem, kas lieto P2P klientus un sūdzas, ka web brauzeri velkas kā gliemeži.
Domāts cilvēkiem, kas neprot tcpip.sys pierediģēt manuāli, saglabā bekapu. :warn:

Paldies! Varbūt noderēs. Parasti to limitu nomainu ar nLite, bet var rasties situācija, kad šis noder.

Š ajā sakarā man ir viens jautājums:
Plānoju uzlikt M$ SQL uz XP un lietot to kā datubāzes serveri. Tas TCP limits bija šķerslis, bet to var nolabot. Jautājums ir par to cik likumīga ir šāda labošana, kad zvanīju uz M$ suportu, šamējie teica, ka licences noteikumi to nepieļauj.

Tātad - vai šis labojums atbilst licences nosacījumiem?

Cik atceros, labot nevar, tur tev droši ka būs taisnība par to licenzi. Vismaz uz windows server 2003 laikam tie limiti bija noņemti jau standartā, ja nu plāno veidot kādu tīklu, labāk pastīties uz Server OS pusi.

Server OS ir dārgas (man ir server licences, bet klientiem būs jāpērk un medicīnai šobrīd ar naudu ir švaki.).
Man tās visas serveru lietas nevajag, tur darbosies tikai SQL.
Š eit ir teikts, ka tas ierobežojums parādījās sākot ar SP2. Ja man tas XP ir pirkts, kad vēl nebija SP2, vai tad uz mani tas limits attiecas?

Izskatās, ka mans gadījums pakrīt zem tā "remote access", bet varbūt arī nē. Wikipēdijā "Remote access" tiek skaidrots kā kaut kas līdzīgs kā VPN. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remote_access
